The Specialty Coffee Association Hong Kong (SCAHK) is an independently operated, non-profit organisation. Founded from our passion for specialty coffee, we are committed to promoting specialty coffee culture and building an open, inclusive, transparent, and community-driven local coffee network where every enthusiast can find a sense of belonging and connection.
SCAHK was established by a group of experienced baristas, coffee educators, and WCE certified judges. Our core mission is to support the growth of the industry and foster meaningful exchange between professionals and enthusiasts through local competitions, professional sharing sessions, and community events.
Our committee members have repeatedly been invited by the Hong Kong Specialty Coffee Association (HKSCA) for pro bono service to assist in organising various World Coffee Events (WCE) sanctioned competitions. Upholding professionalism and passion for service, we remain dedicated to nurturing a healthier, more professional, and positively developing landscape for local coffee events and community engagement.
