Terms and Conditions for our online store

The following terms govern the sale and purchase of items in your cart between you and SCAHK Online Store. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Product Availability & Pricing

Goods will be shipped to the address specified in your Order Confirmation.
While we strive for pricing accuracy, discrepancies may occur. If an error is found in the price of ordered items, we will promptly notify you and request reconfirmation at the correct price or offer cancellation. Unsuccessful contact attempts will result in order cancellation. Cancelled orders receive full refunds.

International Shipping

For non-Hong Kong delivery addresses, import duties/taxes levied upon shipment arrival in your country are your responsibility. Customs clearance fees are solely borne by you. Customs policies vary by country; we recommend consulting your local customs office.
Note: Cross-border shipments may be opened/inspected by customs authorities.

Validity of Terms

Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms. We reserve the right to modify terms at any time. You are responsible for reviewing terms before each purchase.

Customer Warranties

You warrant that all order information is complete and accurate.

Order Acknowledgement

An email confirmation detailing products ordered, total cost (including VAT where applicable), shipping fees, and delivery information will be sent upon order completion. If order processing fails, our customer service team will contact you regarding the issue.

Data Protection

We never share personal details with third parties for marketing. Address data is retained solely for order fulfilment (see Privacy Policy). Information from registration forms may be temporarily stored to contact you regarding transaction attempts (even unconfirmed ones), primarily for service-related operational emails. Data is shared only with logistics partners for delivery purposes. Our goal is to deliver optimal service.

Data Encryption

We implement 256-bit encryption (highest commercial standard) across our entire e-commerce platform, including but not limited to user registration/login and checkout processes.

Payment Processing

SCAHK does not directly process payments. Third-party gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) collect and handle your payment information (including credit card details). Refer to PayPal’s Privacy Policy and Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details.

Damaged/Incorrect Deliveries

Our Goods & Services warranty requires:
(i) Proper storage of goods; we are not liable for faults arising from improper storage.
(ii) Notification of shortages/defects within 5 days of delivery, including nature of issue and invoice number. Failure to notify constitutes acceptance of goods.
For valid claims where we are liable, we will at our discretion: replace goods/cover shortages free of charge, or issue a refund. Defective goods qualify for reimbursement of reasonable return shipping costs. No further liability applies. Failure to notify voids all claims, and full payment remains due.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delivery failures, delays, damage, or defects caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Severability

If any term is deemed unenforceable, the validity of remaining terms remains unaffected.

Promo Code Terms

Promotional codes apply savings to new SCAHK orders at checkout. We reserve the right to reject orders with invalid codes. Refunds for returned items will reflect the discounted price paid minus original shipping fees.
